Catch them young… Environmental education and public relations

Nature protection requires interest and enthusiasm! Therefore, the City of Heidelberg has initiated pedagogical projects and consistently informs its citizens about nature and environmental protection. Successful examples are the “woodland experience path” on the Königstuhl and the environmentally-educational series of events “nature active” of the Office of Environmental Protection in cooperation with numerous partners. These are aimed in particular at children and teenagers as a way of introducing them to the topic of nature protection through nature-oriented walks. Online information on nature protection and the publication of brochures complete our range.
