Heidelberg Chapter Meeting

In June, Heidelberg HCI members met for the first time this year in an extraordinary, architecturally impressive location. HCI member CEO Dominik von Achten welcomed as host at Heidelberg Materials, a worldwide operating company, which among other things supplies the 100% recyclable building material for the largest 3D-printed building in Europe currently under construction in Heidelberg. Our special thanks go to him and his team for their exceptional hospitality.
After the welcome by the host, who briefly introduced his company and thus gave us a great insight, Mayor Prof. Dr. Eckart Würzner reported on current developments in Heidelberg and at Heidelberg Club International. The focus was on the Asia trip in February and the new founding of the chapter in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which we are particularly pleased about and shows that the HCI is growing and thriving.

Five new members from various fields were officially welcomed into the Heidelberg Club International and will support the network with their expertise in the future.

Get together
It was a great chapter meeting with summery drinks and a varied culinary offer in a wonderful atmosphere, as these pictures of the champagne reception and the final get together illustrate. The musician duo Amann and Hornung delighted the 60 members with lively saxophone sounds and, as always, there was plenty of time to talk to each other and make new contacts. We are already looking forward to our next joint meeting.
