In Heidelberg there are well over 30 specialized clinics, treating not only Heidelberg’s residents, but also many patients from all over the world. Heidelberg University Hospital in particular is internationally renowned. With more than one million outpatients and 118,000 inpatients annually, it is among the ten largest hospitals in Germany. This is in addition to a whole range of other hospitals and health centers offering exceptional healthcare to residents and visitors alike.
