The exhibition featured installations, models and pictorial objects from various creative periods of the Heidelberg-based artist Michael Bacht, all of which revolve around the motif of slave ships and layout plans designed to maximise the use of the ship’s decks, and which denounce the commodification of ‘human beings’.
