RHEINSTRASSE CLOSED!

During the first phase of construction, which is currently scheduled to last until the end of May 2027, Rheinstraße will be completely closed between Römerstraße and beyond the intersection of Rheinstraße and Roeblingstraße.

MUSEUM PARKING SPACES UNAVAILABLE!

The entire existing parking lot on the Mark Twain Center grounds, as well as the accessible parking spaces in front of the building, will be unavailable during this period.

DISABLED PARKING SPACES

As an alternative, temporary disabled parking spaces will be set up on Rheinstraße east of Römerstraße, across from the Görtz Bakery, from Wednesday through Sunday, daily from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

TRAVELING BY CAR

PARKING OPTIONS

Visitors can use the surrounding parking options in the side streets as well as the PARKHAUS P19 on Nina-Simone-Straße as alternatives to the museum’s usual parking spaces.

TRAVELING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The Mark Twain Center BUS STOP has been canceled!

Line 29 will be rerouted in both directions between Berthold-Mogel-Straße and Rohrbach Markt. In addition, the Saarstraße stop will be served.

From Bismarckplatz to the Mark Twain Center:

> Tram 23 (toward Leimen Cemetery) - GET OFF at the Rheinstraße stop (5-minute walk to the MTC)

> Bus line 29 (toward Rohrbach Markt) - GET OFF at the Berthold-Mogel-Straße stop

From the MAIN STATION to the Mark Twain Center:

> Take tram 24 (toward Rohrbach Süd) and get off at the Rheinstraße stop (5-minute walk to the MTC)
