Anlaufstelle Frühe Hilfen
The Anlaufstelle Frühe Hilfen is there for you to guide you through your child's first years or to provide you with individually tailored help and support. During counselling sessions, advisors will work with you to find out how support can be provided. A special form of support is offered by the family paediatric nurses, who can visit you at home and help you deal with your child. An experienced social pedagogue is available to support you with applications or visits to the authorities. For an initial contact, you can reach the contact centre by phone or email.
All Heidelberg mothers and fathers with newborn babies will receive a voucher with the letter from the Lord Mayor, which they can redeem for a baby welcome pack with lots of interesting information and useful gifts at the information events or during a personal meeting. The welcome pack can also be sent to you on request. The team at the Familienbüro will support you in answering your questions and help you to find out which of the many family-friendly offers are suitable for your new life situation. The family office can be contacted by phone or email, but also offers open consultation hours, which you can attend at without making an appointment. A home visit is also possible if required.
